The Conglomerate’s Guide to Fall
There is a, sort of, chill in the air, the sun is setting earlier and earlier, and a pumpkin spice latte is permanently in my hand; this can only mean one thing, it is fall y’all. Letter from the Editor: An argument for student journalism
The oldest (maybe) question that college students ask themselves is “Why should I get involved anyway?” It is so easy for us in our first years of college to succumb to the allure of a little extra free time, a few more hours of sleep, or the peace and quiet of staying in our dorms. Meetings, practices, assignments, and responsibilities all haunt the average college student’s day to day and it can be hard to keep all of these things afloat while also expressing yourself, exploring your passions, and advocating for causes you care about. Celebrating Holidays on the Red
It is the most wonderful time of year in Shreveport, and Holidays on the Red, hosted by the Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau, is a fantastic way to get into the holiday spirit. The campaign was created by the Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau (SBCTB) to bring more exposure to the numerous existing and new events taking place this year. These events, starting just after Thanksgiving and ending right before Christmas, are amazing opportunities to explore the community as well as check off some boxes on the holiday shopping list.
